About Harriet Olds
Harriet Olds received her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design in Pennsylvania and later achieved her Master of Art in Illustration from Syracuse University. Her illustration experience includes archeological and medical drawings, hard-line art for a major department store, and comprehensive layouts and renderings for advertising in Lakewood, Colorado. Her clients have included Coors Brewing Company, The Denver Nuggets, Colorado Country Life Magazine, Storey Books, The Denver Water Board and The Cactus and Succulent Journal.
She has a passion for nature and enjoys visualizing it in her illustrations. She is a fresh voice in the creative process and skillful in the challenge of producing a vision. Her recent note card designs of Colorado cactus won a Bronze Award in 2007 from the Colorado Alliance of Illustrators.
Her career of hands-on interaction with projects from large corporations to small privately owned companies and individuals, gives her a real appreciation for and great pleasure in helping people invigorate their communication with illustration.
